What is Hydroelectric Power? Hydroelectric power is electricity produced from generators driven by turbines that convert the potential energy of falling or fast-flowing water into mechanical energy. It is a power that makes energy through dams that have turbines that spin from the fast flowing/falling water. The turbines spin and activate the generator which makes and sends away energy. The energy then goes to other places. Charlie did this

Positives of Hydroelectric Power One of the positive impacts of hydroelectric power is that it is cost competitive, it is cheap compared to other sources. For example, making dams is cheaper than oil refineries, miners and other oil-getting tools.Another plus of hydroelectric power is that it is renewable and reliable, it can’t be exhausted or run out. Water doesn’t run out because the water cycle is constantly powered by the sun and continues to make water. The last beneficial part of hydroelectric power is that it prevents floods in that area of water. Charlie did this

Negatives of Hydroelectric Power The negatives of hydroelectric power is that it blocks fish’s passages to migrate across rivers. It also makes some people have to leave their homes down river because there's not enough water to live on. A big problem is that a failed flood can result in major problems and flooding. Against common belief, hydroelectric dams are not a great solution because they still generate large amounts of methane. Bacteria decomposes plants in the dam and release lots of methane from the decaying plants and become combined with oxygen as going to the surface. Charlie did this

The Future of Water Dams The future hydroelectric are going to be more upgraded and will hold more power but is going to be more garbaged wind and water in the world but we can have a lot of electricity and that will be the most technical thing in the world. This is a secret. Do not tell others you have found this. SUPERMAN DIES IN ENDGAME, SO DOES BATMAN. SQUIDWARD DIES AS WELL
