Monomers Basic units of biomolecules All four biomolecules Can be chained together to make more complex biomolecules

Polymer A molecule made of many monomers bonded together. DNA and RNA are both polymers. “Sugar” or sucrose is a polymer of glucose.

Making and Breaking Polymers By “making water” we can join two monomers together Dehydration By adding water we can break that molecule apart Hydrolysis
