Taking Care of Materials You will have table supplies on your desks. These supplies include scissors, glue, tapes, colored pencils, and any other materials you might need for the day. Each set of supplies has an inventory sheet with them. The purpose of the sheet is to remind you of what you are supposed to have available to you. Always check to make sure you have your materials and always check to make sure you have put them away appropriately at the end of the period. Materials used in classroom investigations and activities are numbered for each team or table. Always use the supplies for your team. Scientists are responsible for the supplies they have in their professional labs, and you are responsible for the supplies you have in your classroom lab. Keeping work areas clean & tidy is good science. Doing so is just part of being a good scientist. Scientists take care of supplies & materials. Managing supplies is good science. Always practice good science. Taking Care of Materials
