Toad was sent by his boss to India on an outsourced job to train their call center, in order to sell American products.

When he arrived to the train station to reach his destination the train was already on the move . The Indian guy was running to catch up with the train Toad said “ there is no rules!?” , he helped Toad’s luggage in the to the train and told him to jump.

Toad was questions about marriage and he explained that he broke up with his girl because he was not ready to have kids yet, and Indian women though that he was old enough to be a grandfather. this shows Hofstede’s Individualism that Americans believe that their privacy have to be respected.

The man explained that in India you should not place your hand back in the plate after it has been in your mouth, also they should eat with their right hand, this shows is more likely to be short-term orientation society, because they encourage their traditions.

When Toad arrived to the restaurant he wanted a cheese burger, which consisted of cow beef and cheese on top, but he didn’t find what he was looking for at Macdonnells, because of the fact that they worship cows in India

When the Indian manager came to bring food for Toad he instead got yelled at rather thanks. This also shows the collectivism side of the Indian society because they tend to care about each other even at their workplace. And In America they believe in only getting the job done without developing any relationships reffarring to Individualism.

This clip shows the hospitality of the Indian Society, when they invited Toad to eat with them; which shows a part of collectivism that is when group of people care about each other.
