PROGRESS REPORTS Hand out Progress Reports Hand out Gray Advisor Folders Take out Advisement Worksheet *List courses in the 10th Grade Plan boxes and fill in the 13.5 week progress report grades for the current classes. Talk about how students may improve their grades: (IF NEEDED) *Stay after school for tutoring with teachers *Study a little every day to avoid cramming before tests *Study with smart friends *Attend school every day *Check teacher websites if absent and complete make-up work *Do your homework and turn in in *pay attention and ask questions in class *Check Infinite campus 5. Collect Advisor Folders – Student take the Progress Report Home The Advisement Worksheet was attached to your email this morning if you need to make extra copies. This is the FINAL progress report for block classes. The next grade report will be the first semester Report Card. Grades will be FINAL in 21 days and will be posted to your official transcript.

Are you a leader? Do you want to be? For SOPHOMORES Only: You can Apply to be a delegate to HOBY Summer Program (HOBY = Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program) When? June 8-10, 2019 Where? Georgia College & State University - Milledgeville, GA How? Complete an Application – which is available in the Counseling Office or on Mrs. Barrow’s website TWO Sophomores will be chosen to attend this summer program. Glynn Academy will pay the $250 fee! Application Due: November 14, 2018

New Classes are being offered in: Do you want to take Dual Enrollment classes at Coastal Pines next semester? New Classes are being offered in: Criminal Justice : Will be taught on GA campus during 3rd block. Only requirement is that you have a 3.0 GPA. Cosmetology: Will be taught at Coastal Pines during 1st / 2nd block OR 3rd / 4th block. Only requirement is that you have a 3.0 GPA (transportation provided) Come see Mrs. Barrow asap if you want to sign up for these classes – they are filling up!
