Application Technology Engineer – Construction Market (Ref. No ATE_GMO_1_14) Located in Mannheim (Germany), or in Athens (Greece) The special challenge of the position is the further growth of the Company’s business in the Construction/ Civil Engineering sector through new business development and technical expertise according to the Company’s Strategy. In parallel, he/she will be responsible for the technical support, training, service and promotion of the Company’s products under our brand IBECO or S&B to the regions where no specific sales team exists, securing the long lasting relation with them. Main Accountabilities Identify and develop new business opportunities for our products (i.e. tunneling, diaphragm walls, horizontal directional drilling, building materials, concrete etc.) Define and quantify the value of our products to relative customers Provide technical support to the assigned customers aiming to the optimization of their project’s efficiency Introduce existing products to new geographical regions or/and new products to existing markets. Conduct and evaluate industrial application tests as well as presentation of their results Participate to the knowledge transfer of the Company’s Construction Segment across the regions Candidate Profile Experience in Civil Engineering Projects (preferably in tunneling, bridges, drilling applications etc.) Business-to-business marketing / sales / technical / project management experience Experience in understanding the needs of the customers today and anticipating future opportunities Keen on learning new applications Experience of operating internationally Fluent in English, very good knowledge of German will be considered a plus A civil engineering degree will be a strong advantage Readiness for extensive traveling ( ≥ 50%) We offer a competitive remuneration package coupled with continuous development opportunities within a challenging working environment.
