Historic view sheriff’s Office in Carpinteria On July 1, 1992 law enforcement services for the City of Carpinteria were contracted to the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office. Our purpose is to provide a full range of police services that enhance the quality of life for the citizens, business persons and visitors of Carpinteria.

Contract: deputy sheriff service unit Accurately determines the cost charged to the City by the County for Law Enforcement service based on the actual hourly cost of a Sheriff Deputy Includes both direct and indirect costs of providing one hour of law enforcement services Ensures that there are no unexpected cost increases to the city for the annual duration of the contract.
