Peer Tutor Training 1. Punctuality 15 min rule 2. Absences Inform on whatsup a day before, but if more than 3 absences per semester – 1st warning, 4 absences – remove from schedule One absence without informing – 1st warning Two absences without informing – removing from schedule 3. Certificates – completed training – you should all complete your p1 and p 2 training 4. Information with pictures – send Ms Mariam text and your photo or a complete PP slide to display on board

What materials should you use? You are a level 1 student and you want to practice IELTS B You are a level 2 student and you want to practice General Speaking C You are a level 4 student and you want to practice IELTS Speaking   D You are a level 3 student and you want to develop your vocabulary E You are a level 2 student and you want to practice IELTS Speaking F You are a faculty student and you want to practice for a faculty presentation G You are a level 1 student who wants to practice General Speaking H You are Level 2 student and you want to improve your vocabulary I You are a faculty student who wants to practice general Speaking

Other important issues Respect and politeness - to Teachers, other Peer Tutors and Students (greetings, reaction to comments from teachers and other peer tutors, no whispering or getting into arguments please) No photos or selfies in the SC (flat on the desk ? – be aware of other people’s feelings) Mobile phones are allowed only if you have no students or if you look up words in dictionaries etc Don’t take up phone calls in the Centre – step outside please
