Castle Head Field Centre 8th – 12th July 2019
This is where we will be staying.
The Plan For The Week Children should come to school for 8:30am. Leave by 9:00 Arrive for lunch at Heaton Park (Manchester) – Midday Arrive at Castle Head Field Centre at 2.30pm First evening: Tour of the centre, settle in, fire drill, evening meal and evening activity. The rest of the week: Groups of around 10. Rotate around different activities We will be leaving the centre approx 9:30am We should arrive back at St Botolph’s at approx. 3.00pm Please check Parentmail for any travel updates.

A typical day… Breakfast at 8.15 am Prepare packed lunches Begin morning activities Lunch back at the centre and some free time Afternoon activities Evening meal at approx 6pm Evening activity Drinks and snack Bed!
Food Please let us know of any specific dietary requirements by Friday 7th June.
Additional Information Contact Details Please keep an eye on Parentmail for updates about the trip. We will also try to tweet pictures from the school account. Pocket Money Children can bring no more than £5 in a named envelope to be handed to their teacher on Monday morning. Medicine Please label with your child’s name and the dose required. This includes travel sickness tablets. Food and Drink The children will need to bring a disposable packed lunch on the Monday. No sweets or fizzy drinks please.
Additional Information Electronics: Please no gadgets/phones/electrical items. Bags: Please ensure children can carry their own bag/case. They will also need a separate backpack to wear in the day. Water Bottles – Please bring a water bottle to refill and use when out and about on activities.
What to bring!
Clothing List Wellingtons, walking boots and waterproofs are essential however please do not spend lots of money buying them if you do not currently own any. Long sleeved tops and long trousers are needed for all outdoor activities. A set of clothing and shoes that will get wet. A set of clean and dry clothing to travel back in
Please ensure everything is clearly named! Drying room Please ensure everything is clearly named!
Clean, Dry Clothes Please pack a full set of clothes in a separate bag inside suitcase. The children will keep this set for the last day. This ensures the children have a set of clean, dry clothes for travelling home in.
After all that we come home and .... SLEEP!
