People vs. Living Space in MEDCs MUST: Describe how people in MEDCs such as UK are attracted to different living spaces   SHOULD: Suggest reasons for the differences in living spaces attraction in MEDCs COULD: Explain in detail using evidence the reasons for changes in living spaces requirements in MEDCs

Starter Activity – Recap Homework

How does an ageing population affect our living spaces? How does this affect our living spaces? What about the retirement age group? Where do they often go?

A Place in the Sun! Using the video, produce a paragraph outlining what is attracting retirement couples to live in places such as Spain? Use either p.172 Pearson or p187 OUP to add to these reasons. Why some of these migrants are now choosing to come home?

Exam Question Explain two reasons why people who move overseas when they retire sometimes return home disappointed (4 marks)
