Winter in Brrrrrecksville A Collaborative Poem by Chippewa Elementary K-3 Students
Take a look outside our windows. What is there to see? It’s wintertime; the snow is falling. What does that mean for you and me? We see frozen lakes and evergreens, Snowhills, owls and deer. Snowball fights, skating and fun Will bring us all to cheer. Pictures by Kindergarten students
Of course there’s the bad side of winter, too. With frostbite, blizzards and storms. But moms will fix hot cocoa That will help to keep us warm. Pictures by First Grade students
Outside we see the snow on trees. It’s cold and time to pick. Skiing, tobogganing, building a fort; Which one will do the trick? As icicles grow from the rooftops, And frost appears on cars, We dress up like snowbunnies With hats and gloves and scarves. Pictures by Second Grade students
