For more information or to enter art please contact: Magnificent Minds Project The Magnificent Minds Project was created as a way to celebrate the immense creativity, ingenuity and artistic brilliance that exist within individuals who have mental illness. We are organizing a gallery exhibit that will display the art work of various individuals within our community who have mental illness. Individuals will be able to submit art, which they have created, along with information about themselves, what inspired their piece, a price for the art piece and contact information. The Art Association of Harrisburg will host the exhibit on July 1, 2010 - August 30, 2010 at Harrisburg’s Reservoir Park Mansion. The exhibit’s opening reception will be held on July 10th from 2pm-4pm. The Art Association of Harrisburg is donating their space and 100% of proceeds from the art sold will go to the artist. Art pieces from the exhibit will then be displayed on the MMP webpage, in businesses and professional establishments, who have donated a space in support of mental illness. Magnificent Minds Project will accept entries of previously completed art work. We also will fund the purchase of art supplies for artist who wish to create a piece of art specifically for this exhibit. Donations made to the Magnificent Minds Project will enable the purchase of art supplies for these artists. For more information or to enter art please contact: Syngred 717-213-9468 or magnificentmindsproject@yahoo.com
