Session 4 Overview Mindful communication Listening with heart and head   Mindful communication Listening with heart and head Respond vs. React Mindful communication. What it looks/sounds like. Explore various opportunities to use it Listening with head and heart. Start with showing up from a place of service. Blend the soft skills with hard skills. This is the difference between a leader and a manager. Doing this builds their emotional intelligence. This is the essence of a true modern leader. Respond vs. react. Teach them to use the two-second pause before they respond. Again, show up from a place of service. When they park their “stuff” magic happens. Be curious. As Stephen Covey said: “Seek first to understand.”
