Counterfeit Adjective Fake, false EX: The criminal made counterfeit money.

Hamper Verb make movement or progress difficult: to restrict the free movement or progress of somebody or something EX: Do not hamper me from getting to class on time.

Kindle Verb To start a fire The fire is dying, it needs to be kindled.

Noxious Adjective Harmful, poisonous, lethal EX: Carbon monoxide is a noxious gas.

Remunerate Verb To pay for work done If you install guttering on my house, I will remunerate you accordingly.

Abasement Verb To reduce or lower in rank, office or status, Humiliation, degrading The abasement from manager to teller is due to your poor performance.

Cower Verb recoil in fear or servility; shrink away from The dog cowered from his abusive master.

Credible Adjective Offering reasonable grounds for being believed The testimony of the honest man was credible.
