WHO ARE ? YOU Genesis 2:7 Then the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Are you a man or woman who has a spirit or are you a spirit in a man or woman’s body?

There are three distinct parts to your being that WHO ARE ? YOU May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify YOU through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 There are three distinct parts to your being that are created by God. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. WHO ARE ? YOU GOD IS A SPIRIT All three function together as a unit that provide life, and gives character and shows the unique qualities that make you special as a male or female. (James 2:26 Genesis 2:7) YOU ARE A SPIRIT You are a spirit made in the image and likeness of God. (Gen. 1:26-27 2 Cor. 4:16.) SPIRIT You have a soul. It is the seat of your personality. It gives character, life and shows the unique qualities that make you special. YOU HAVE A SOUL SOUL God is a spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image,after our likeness, and let them have dominion over ... 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Your body is where you live and the temple by which you communicate with the physical world through the five senses. YOU LIVE IN A BODY BODY

WHO ARE ? sin YOU GOD IS A SPIRIT YOU HAVE A SOUL Your spirit is still made in the image and likeness of God but being dead spiritually means you are no longer in relationship with God because sin separated you from him. Eph. 2:1 sin DEAD SPIRIT You now live independent of God and try to find life apart from God but you are darkened in your understanding and separated from the knowledge of God. Eph. 4:18 YOU HAVE A SOUL YOU HAVE A SOUL YOU LIVE IN A BODY Your body is where you live and the temple by which you communicate with the physical world through the five senses.
