Roman Expansion Objective: to be able to discuss the reasons for and against Roman expansion from 8 historical points of view

Benchmarks: here are your daily goals 1. Thursday & Friday 12/1 & 12/2 Read your bio’s, answers guided questions and take notes. Prepare rough bio to be typed. *Remember to include at least two major topics listed on instructions (rights, economics, etc.)make note of all key terms & use them!

2. Monday 12/5: Begin to create arguments, work on statements, and poster. Bio & poster due to present and hand in typed on 12/6. **make sure you have your flash drive! 3. Tuesday. 12/6: Bio & mask due and posters due (etc-use my picts or get your own!) after listening to bios work on questions for opposition. (2 per character = 8) Press agent presents

3*. When presenting poster make sure all requirements are on it: slogan, bio, perspective on expansion, symbol, TITLE, finalize arguments and questions

Wed 12/7:Typed arguments (copy for me) due(statements included), Actor presents argument for or against (take notes so you can debate others on Friday!) work on predicting questions that may be asked of you and the people on your side (5 for your group, 5 for the group who is siding with your groups perspective on expansion) 5. Friday 12/9 = debate! Wear masks, be one with your historical figure! Typed argument and questions due to me-have a copy for me you can not use!
