They are looking for: Wide range of knowledge Coherent and logical chains of reasoning Connections between different elements Reasoned judgements fully supported by appraisal of evidence Convincing conclusion which draws together ideas and is justified The difference is that the 20-marker will be based on the same topic as the extract you’ve just clarified. The 30-marker will be on a broader topic, and you have to include links to the other parts of the course (NT, Ethics, Islam).
