Today we'll learn an English play ---A play about Daniel and Eric who were left alone at home. What is a play?

What is a play? A play is a piece of writing which is intended to be performed in a theatre, on the radio or on television, and which consists of the words that a set of characters say. A play usually consists of several acts. Each act can have several scenes.

If we read a play, what things should we pay attention to? Go through the Reading strategy and tell me how to read a play. What’s the characteristics of a play? 2. Do you know how to read a play?

I. The characteristics of a play: a. Most plays are in the form of a dialogue to be spoken aloud. b. Writers use different styles of speech. Casual speech is used,sometimes with incomplete sentences.

II. How to read a play To read it out loud instead of silently to better understand a play. b. To pay attention to the instructions or tips included in a play.
