Bethel (God’s home) is a city where Jesus could pass during the walk. Samaria MARTHA and MARY In the Road of Death horizon (of giving life), excessive anxieties do not have room. It is about being attentive to “the unique necessary”. This is the better part that nobody can take us. Today’s gospel, own of Luke, tells us about Martha & Mary, sisters of Lazarus, although Luke places it in the road from Galilee to Jerusalem, going through Samaria. Bethel (God’s home) is a city where Jesus could pass during the walk. Jerusalem

Lk 10:38-42 In the course of their journey he came to a village, and a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. Bethel, God’s home

When Jesus goes through our life, we receive Him, let us be looked by Him? To welcome Jesus is to be open to the good things who pass every day, and be grateful for Bethel ensemble

She had a sister called Mary, who sat down at the Lord's feet and listened to him speaking. Now Martha, who was distracted with all the serving,

Martha & Mary from Mikhael Nesterov Each one chooses the attitudes that wants to take, and who make their being If you let uneasiness full you up, the toll, the haste, life will be a constant annoyance. If you let peace go out, the reflexion you have inside, will make things easily, and will convey it. Martha & Mary from Mikhael Nesterov

came to him and said, 'Lord, do you not care that my sister is leaving me to do the serving all by myself? Please tell her to help me.‘

Martha serves anxiously, and needs help Martha serves anxiously, and needs help. Mary CONTEMPLATES at Jesus’s feet. Contemplation tells us about the most important in life, of what is most beneficial, the more decissive, the more essential for BE what we are. Mary’s contemplation

But the Lord answered, 'Martha, Martha,' he said, 'you worry and fret about so many things, and yet few are needed, indee

To serve well, as Martha, It is necessary to LOVE much, as Mary To serve is not to roll like a spinning top, but to attend the other with LOVE, with warmth, is to give tenderly what we are, in every moment Place of Bethel’s temple

It is Mary who has chosen the better part, and it is not to be taken from her.'

The better part, who will never be snatched off, is to put ourselves at the feet of Jesus and of EVERYBODY It is the place always empty, available, the lower place, the place of obliteration of Christ, put within our reach Whole of the scene

Make, Lord, who contemplating You, we will found the others, and serving the others, will find You
