New and Improved Exam Registration Process Environmental Trade Fair 2019 New and Improved Exam Registration Process Robin A. Maiorisi, Lead Internet Developer Permitting and Registration Support Division Texas Commission on Environmental Quality

Overview We’re updating our Exam Registration process to be more interactive and helpful when you want to register for an exam. Real time validation gives you what you need to know immediately. Availability of exams Seats left in the Exam Session The exam you need to take. And more.

Log In by Customer Number (CN) The customer number is: on the approval letter, searchable on the TCEQ website Enter the CN or Customer Number for the license applicant to register for the exam. If it's unknown, users can go to http://www2.tceq.texas.gov/lic_dpa/index.cfm to search for it. By entering the CN, the system will auto-populate some of your information.

Select From the List of Exams Only the exams you have an approved application for will appear. Once the CN is entered and "Next" is selected, the system will show the name matching the CN and the approved application(s) they can choose to take. Data entry fields are: Registrant's Company, Email, Phone and exam selection. We’ve reduced the number of fields you have to enter information into. The exam you choose in the Exam dropdown list will only populate with exams that you have an approved application for. You can’t choose the wrong exam!

Exam Session Choose a location Choose the date/time to take the exam. Seats remaining in the session are listed with the date and time of the session. After entering the company, email, phone number, etc, and selecting the Next button, the Location dropdown box will list the available locations to take the exam. Once you select a location, you can choose which exam session (date and time) you need. Next to the Session options for date and time in the dropdown box selection is the remaining seat count. Once you choose the exam and select Next, you will select where and when you want to take the exam. The number of remaining seats appears to the right of the date and time! This helps when signing up multiple people for the same exam.

Sign & Submit Sign and submit. That’s it! Once all the required information has been correctly entered, you will be asked to enter your legal name. Then, select the Sign and Submit button. Sign and submit. That’s it!

Print your confirmation After successfully signing and submitting your exam registration, you will be able to print out a confirmation by selecting the "Print" link at the top of the page. You will also receive an email confirmation. FINISHED! You can print the confirmation at this time and will receive an email confirmation also.

Cancel an Appointment You can cancel your own appointments! To cancel a registration, enter your Customer Number (CN) and Registration Confirmation number (it's included in the email confirmation or print from the screen). Previously, you’d have to call the region to cancel an appointment. When you cancel, it opens up the seat automatically.

Cancel Registration Information Just hit “Next” to cancel. You entered it. We found it! After entering the CN and confirmation number and selecting "Next" you will be able to verify that this is the correct registration. Select "Next" to continue. Cancelling an exam registration is that easy.

Sign & Submit Your Cancelation Once all the required information has been correctly entered, you will be asked to enter your legal name. Then, select the Sign and Submit button.

Print your confirmation Cancel Confirmation Print your confirmation FINISHED! You have a record that you cancelled the reservation. After successfully signing and submitting your exam cancellation, you will be able to print out a confirmation by selecting the "Print" link at the top of the page. You will also receive an email confirmation of the cancellation.
