Class Norms Campbell R. Harvey Duke University, NBER and Innovation and Cryptoventures Class Norms Campbell R. Harvey Duke University, NBER and Investment Strategy Advisor, Man Group, plc Revised January 13, 2017
Campbell R. Harvey: International Finance, 2017 Norms I do not keep track of attendance. There is no need to contact me if you cannot attend. All lectures are recorded (except for guest speakers). That said, attendance at class is very important for your learning experience. You can bring mobile phones and computers to the class. However, turn all sounds/vibrations off. In one class, I will need everyone to have a laptop. If you are very late for the class, please do not ask questions that might have been covered in the first part of the class. Sit at the back (until a break). Campbell R. Harvey: International Finance, 2017
Campbell R. Harvey: International Finance, 2017 Norms Group participation is self evaluated. I realize that there will be some “divide and conquer” for the big project due to backgrounds of the group members. However, each group member must have a firm grasp of the start-up idea. Much like an advanced graduate class, I will be leaning on the students in the class to participate. Some of you have knowledge that could be productively shared with the rest of the class. I will ask certain students to step up. Honor code maintained. Campbell R. Harvey: International Finance, 2017
