Introduction Conversation Quiz Grade!

What is your assignment? Real life context: You are new to a school in a Spanish speaking country. In your first class, a friendly student sits next to you and begins introducing himself/herself. Performance Task Create a basic conversation where you and your partner introduce yourselves. You will write down your conversation, memorize it with your partner and present it in class on Tuesday, September 3.

What to include in your conversation? Step 1 – Write your introductory conversation Greetings Ask each other and answer: “How are you?” Ask each other and answer: “What is your name?” Ask each other and answer: “Where are you from?” Say goodbye

What if you have a group of three? One student will introduce the third student into the conversation “Te presento a…” “Este / Esta es…” Incorporate the third person into the conversation by asking and answer questions including them!

What to do next? Step 2 - Check with Mrs. Giannace for corrections. There is no excuse not to have a PERFECT conversation if you are using your resources!! Step 3 – Memorize your conversation with your partner EVERYONE should take a copy of the conversation home! Work on correct pronunciation You will present your conversation to the class Tuesday.
