Ireland Intercompany Transferee This permit facilitates the transfer of senior management, key personnel or trainees from an overseas branch or a multinational corporation to its Irish branch. Requirements: The applicant must have worked as a direct employee of the sending company at least 6 months prior to the transfer application. The Irish company must have a direct link with the overseas company by common ownership. Employees on salary in excess of €40,000 can remain on overseas payroll. Issued for: up to 2 years, can be renewed for a max of 5 years in total. Spouse & Family: No, Spouses of Permit holders must apply for a separate Employment Permit in their own right. Processing time – up to 3 weeks

Ireland Work Permit The Work Permit assume all occupations to be eligible unless otherwise specified. Requirements: A job offer of minimum remuneration of €30,000pa. Applications where the remuneration is below €30,000 accepted in exceptional circumstances. A labour market test needs to be completed. The applicant must process the relevant qualifications, skills or experience. There are limitations on the minimum number of EEA nationals required. Issued for: up to 2 years and can be renewed for a further 3 years. Spouse & Family: No, Spouses of Permit holders must apply for a separate Employment Permit in their own right. Ireland Green Card The Green Card permit is designed to attract highly skilled people into Ireland with the aim of encouraging them to take up permanent residence. Requirements: Remuneration of €60,000 or more Job offer of 2 year duration. The Green Card is also available to certain occupations earning between €30,000-€60,000 including ICT professionals, professional engineers and technologists, business and financial professionals.
