Biome, Ecosystem, Habitat It lives in a sandy and rocky desert, often far from water It also lives in captivity up to 25 years Addax are mostly found in isolated regions of the Sahara
Color, Weight, Size Its color is usually white and brown It weighs 60 to 125 kilograms [130 to 240 pounds] Its size is 1.5 to 1.7 meters [4.5 to 5.5 feet]
Diet, Predators It eats desert grasses, leguminous herbs, and acacia Its predators are mostly humans which can sometimes be in vehicles, but the addax are now in an area they can’t be hunted
Estimated Population Estimated is probably less than 200 Addax left because of the humans population
Interesting Facts Both females and males have horns Their horns are 76 to 109 centimeters [30 to 40 inches] The addax is the most desert-adapted antelope
