Typical works of community pharmacists:

Typical works of community pharmacists: 1- Dispensing prescription medicines to the public. 2- Ensuring that different treatments are compatible.

3- Checking dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely supplied and labeled.

4- Supervising the preparation of any medicines. 5- Liaising (to communicate or contact) with doctors about prescriptions. 6- Giving OTC medicines. 7- Counseling and advising the public on the treatment.  

8- Advising patients of side effects of medicines or potential interactions with other medicines. 9- Undertaking medicine use reviews, an advanced service to help patients understand how their medicines work and why they have to take them.

10- Preparing cassette boxes, usually for the elderly and those with memory difficulties, where tablets are placed in compartment for specified day of the week.
