Summary of the antagonistic effects of CPPG Summary of the antagonistic effects of CPPG.A, Dose–response curve for the effect of CPPG on thel-AP4-induced inhibition of EPSC amplitudes. Summary of the antagonistic effects of CPPG.A, Dose–response curve for the effect of CPPG on thel-AP4-induced inhibition of EPSC amplitudes. In each cell (n = 9), applications of 50 μml-AP4 were followed by coapplications of 50 μml-AP4, together with the indicated concentration of CPPG. EPSC amplitudes were analyzed after stable values had been reached (≥1 min after change of solutions; see Fig.5). The average inhibition induced by 50 μml-AP4 in the absence of CPPG (n = 9) is indicated by the open symbol. The solid line is drawn according to a Hill equation with a half-maximal active concentration of 25 μm and a Hill coefficient of 1.5. B, CPPG (300 μm) reversed completely the agonist effect of both l-AP4 (50 μm;n = 2 cells) and ACPD (50 μm;n = 4 cells). Henrique von Gersdorff et al. J.
