Each Course will provide you with in-depth understanding of behavior and how a dog thinks. You will acquire an Alpha Role with your pet. “ Basic Obedience " 807-8805 Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Obedience Lessons for your Canine Companion This will be an Intense Fun-filled, 8-week course Teaching you and your dog as a team the basics of dog obedience. Basic Obedience For All Dogs All courses are taught on lead with Food & Toy reward as the motivator for your dog Personal Training is available Please ask about our rates!!!

Preliminary Overview During this 8-week course you will learn the basic skills as a dog handler. The Sit, Down, Heel & Recall are basics and the most important. Your control over your pet depends on these basic skills everyday. You will be rewarded by having your pet respect you and become more dependent on you. A questionnaire will be provided to you to fill out before arrival at the first lesson. It is important that you fill this out honestly so we can provide the appropriate guidance in Do’s & Don'ts before you begin the program. This will ensure a good head start out of the gate! Please leave your stage fright or dignity at home; you will be on a friendly playing field with knowledgeable staff to provide you expert guidance at all times. Safety is our utmost concern - not only for you, but for your pet and all others participating in the course. The training director’s guidance must be followed at all times (see our Do’s & Don'ts) when on the training field. You and whomever you bring to the sessions are aware you come at your own risk. Proper veterinarian certification will be required at the first training session in order to participate in this course. Anyone unable to provide proper documentation will NOT be allowed to participate in the exercise and no course time reimbursement will be made. You may stay to observe, but not allowed to have your dog on the field. This applies to females in heat as well; it will be at the training director’s discretion as to making up course time for these situations. Your dog MUST have adequate containment in you vehicle i.e.: (Vari-kennel) at all times when attending training sessions. You may be required to bring the kennel to the training session while other dogs are on the field working in small rotating groups. All training aids ,i.e.: leashes, collars etc. will be discussed prior to the first training session. Our “Required Training Materials” worksheet will provide you with all the necessary particulars to be properly prepared for the course. Adequate water from your normal home source will be required as well. Your dog will need to be watered down at some point. Under NO circumstances should your dog be fed before training ( a minimum of 8 Hours prior). Your dog could, dependent on the breed, develop stomach bloat or intestinal torsion if this rule is not followed. We will ask these questions prior to every training session. Your dog’s heath is your responsibility. You will be required to sign a waiver releasing all parties from any recourse either health or otherwise before being allowed to participate in the course. This will apply to your dog, yourself and any party with you at these events. After graduation you and your dog will receive a certificate of completion and will be entitled to a 10% discount on the next course training program.

Training Materials What you need to bring Your Dog & Yourself of Course ( just Kidding!!! ) Remember we will be having FUN!! 6’ ft Leather or Nylon Lead ( preferably leather); it is easier on your hands and provides better control.
