Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge Federal District Federal Riding Highlights from the 2018 BC Child Poverty Report Card In the Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge riding, 2,850 children live in poverty: over one in eight children. Children in lone-parent families are particularly vulnerable: child poverty rates are six and a half times higher for children in lone-parent families than those in couple families. The Pitt-Meadows-Maple Ridge riding has the lowest child poverty rate overall of all the federal ridings in British Columbia.
