January-June 2019 Highlights Yamhill County remains “green” on CJC prison usage dashboard 358 prison months diverted, a total of 2760 since inception 131 total person diverted, only 35 revoked, only 11 with new crimes. Largest prison savings state-wide in Short Term Transitional Leave Pretrial average court appearance of 94% Continued maintenance of approximately 35% pretrial jail population

Barriers Pretrial staff turn over Data collection, analysis and reporting For both Defendant Assessment Report (DAR) and Pretrial Justice Programs

Successes Automon Pretrial Information System Contract signed, implementation kick off call scheduled for 7/29/19 State-wide Pretrial Justice Network meeting quarterly PSU pretrial study completed Supported nationwide research that pretrial incarceration is correlated to severity of punishment imposed upon conviction
