Background This draft specifies OAM functions to Lock and Unlock PWs/MPLS-TP Tunnels (i.e. data and control traffic) Loopback all traffic on a previously locked PW/MPLS TP Tunnels.

Update.. Removed references to MPLS-TP and made it apply to all bidirectional LSPs and PWs. Removed the data packet section for PM/LM. Added an IANA section to request an ACH codepoint and LSP Ping TLVs types. Added a section on OAM functions inter operability with Lock Instruct.

Next Steps.. Update draft to make it applicable only to static PWs/LSPs, not to contradict with Control plane for signaled PWs and LSPs. Add more details to the security section. Revisit LI-LB ACH option for non IP given that LSP Ping option supports non IP.
