Impact of Literature (Books) During the Renaissance, literature became more easily available. Led to better education and new ideas about the universe, government, architecture, and religion.

Machiavelli Wrote a book called, "The Prince“. “The Prince” discussed how rulers should act.

William Shakespeare Shakespeare is considered one of the greatest writers ever. His plays and poems are still performed today. (Examples: Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth) Ms. Ferrara had to memorize and recite a Shakespearean sonnet in 7th grade.
