How to Shade There are two stages when learning how to shade: 1. HOW to apply shading to the paper. 2. WHERE to put the dark and light tones This lesson will continue from last lesson; HOW to shade ©  Copyright Kapow! 2017

Warm up Exercise Shade the boxes from dark to light using an HB pencil. Try not to leave any gaps, make your shading smooth, neat and even. Shade Dark… then gradually… get lighter and lighter ©  Copyright Kapow! 2017
