Revolve A solid can be created by revolving a shape around an axis.
SECTIONS A section view clarifies the shape and location of the internal features. In a section view the object is sliced with an imaginary cutting plane.

Revolve A solid can be created by revolving a shape around an axis. This is helpful when making round objects that include several contours. Here features are created in one sketch then revolved.

Revolve Centerline - Axis of Revolution This pulley was revolved around a center line. Since the center line is offset from the sketch, a hole was created in the center of the part.

Revolve Revolves can be rotated around an axis to a determined angle. Here a shape is revolved as a full revolve and to an angle of 270 degrees.
