This interactive series of classes provides multiple tools for answering this question, with opportunities for application and coaching. Day 1 = general principles tools of academic assessment for individual student problems; Day 2 = specific writing tools including basic conventions/organization error analysis templates, holistic rubrics, semantic & syntax analysis, narrative rubrics, expository & persuasive/argument rubrics, & advanced writing assessment strategies; and Day 3 = troubleshooting, coaching, & networking around your specific cases.
