TAMUS managed application Connected to the System Data Warehouse Enables employees the ability to create and distribute dynamic financial and HR/Payroll reports without knowing SQL Business Objects is an application that can be used to create and distribute dynamic financial and hr/payroll reports.

Question What are some attributes of a “Good” Report? Now that we know a little bit about Business objects and where to go to get access and additional information about the data warehouse, I have a question. What are some attributes of a “Good” report?

Attributes of a “Good” Report Timely Relevant Accurate Meaningful Timely – a report that is created in a dynamic way that can be emailed based on a predetermined schedule; you get the right data when you need it Relevant – the data in the report is applicable for the task at hand; for reconciliation, for account balance; current salary budget on an account; etc. Accurate – the queries used to build the report were built so that the data is accurate and reflects the current truth of the source data i.e. FAMIS, Workday Meaningful - telling, important and consequential information

Question What data are you not able to get that would really make your job easier? Are there reports you are currently receiving that miss the mark of a “Good” report?
