Refraction

A rainbow is comprised of all the visible colors of the color spectrum A rainbow is comprised of all the visible colors of the color spectrum. When combined, these colors form the white light that we see all around us. By splitting this white light through the use of prisms, you can see each color. Colors are also divided into primary and secondary on a color wheel. When primary colors are mixed, they form the secondary colors on the color wheel. For example, by mixing yellow and blue, you create the color green. You can teach children about colors as well as the color wheel through a series of science projects.
