Recommended Dietary Allowances The levels of intake of essential nutrients considered, in the judgment of the national committee on dietary allowances, to meet the known nutritional needs of all healthy persons.

RDA FACTS 40 countries have their own RDA’s RDA’s indicate a % rather than an amount RDA’s are for nutrients in foods after processing and cooking RDA’s do not have to be reached every day RDA’s are for standard body sizes & usual range of exercise RDA’s of the US have been regularly revised about every 5 years since 1941
