Submitting to Classroom, but not uploading a lab to turnitin.com will require a late pass. Uploading a completed lab to turnitin.com but not submitting to Google Classroom will also require a late pass.
NO EXTRA CREDIT Grading Scale I do not offer extra credit. Course grades will be determined by percent weights in 4 categories. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: IB Score REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, October 25th 20% Internal Assessment one 10 hour (not including writing) independent experiment on a question of their choosing Students will be provided with 1 round of feedback on each component of their IA. Students will: Write an IA Proposal (will get feedback on this) Complete a small pilot of their experiment Perform their experiment Write up their IA (will get feedback on this) Revise their IA and submit Scoring rubric can be found on my web page 80% External Assessment IB Biology test is May 7th and 8th
IB Biology Test & Class Final IB Biology Test: May 7th and 8th Will finish new content by mid-April Will then review & prepare No homework other than “study” will be assigned during testing Final: on this year’s Biology content end of April (before the IB test) After the test: Have students practice how to read primary research On the last day of class, they will take a regular test on this
