Salaat-ul-Eid Takbeer (Qunut) اللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ اللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ لا اِلَهَ اِلا اللّٰهُ وَ اللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ اللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ وَ لِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مَا هَدَانَا وَ لَهُ الشُّكْرُ عَلَى مَا اَوْلانَا . Allah is Great. Allah is Great. There is no god save Allah. And Allah is Great. Allah is Great. (All) praise be to Allah. All praise be to Allah for He has shown us the Right Path. All thanks be to Him for that which He has conferred upon us.

EID PRAYERS It is recommended, thereafter, to offer the ‘Id Prayer (Salat al-’Id), which consists of two units. FIRST RAKAAT In the first rakaat, recite Surah al-Faatehah and Surah al-A’la (No. 87). Raise your hands for Qunoot FIVE TIMES (After each Qunoot say Allahu-akbar)and then complete by going into RUKU follow by Sujood. SECOND RAKAAT When you stand up for the second unit, recite Surah al-Faatehah and Surah al-Shams (No. 91). Raise your hands for Qunoot FOUR TIMES (After each Qunoot say Allahu-akbar)and then complete by going into RUKU follow by Sujood and complete the prayers. After the prayer, recite the Tasbih Fatima al-Zahra’(a.s.).

وَأَهْلَ الْعَفْوِ وَالرّحْمَةِ، وَأَهْلَ التّقْوَى وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ، EID QUNNOT اللّهُمّ أَهْلَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ، وَأَهْلَ الْجُودِ وَالْجَبَرُوتِ، وَأَهْلَ الْعَفْوِ وَالرّحْمَةِ، وَأَهْلَ التّقْوَى وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقّ هذَا الْيَوْمِ الّذِي جَعَلْتَهُ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ عِيداً، وَلِمُحَمّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه ذُخْراً وَمَزِيداً أَنْ تُصَلّيَ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ وَأَنْ تُدْخِلَنِي فِي كُلّ خَيْرٍ أَدْخَلْتَ فِيهِ مُحَمّداً وَآلَ مُحَمّدٍ، وَأَنْ تُخْرِجَنِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ أَخْرَجْتَ مِنْهُ مُحَمّداً وَآلَ مُحَمّدٍ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ. اللّهُمّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِمَّا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ.
