Covenant Promises in Act 3 NOAH ABRAHAM MOSES DAVID Gen. 9:15 - "Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life." ABRAHAM Gen. 12:2-3 - "I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." Covenant Promises in Act 3 MOSES Exo. 19:5-6 - "Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation." DAVID 2 Sam. 7:16 - "Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever."

Covenant Breaches in Act 3 JEREMIAH EZEKIEL ISAIAH Jer. 22:8-9 - "'Why has the LORD done such a thing to this great city? And the answer will be: 'Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God and have worshipped and served other gods." EZEKIEL Eze. 16:59 - "I will deal with you as you deserve, because you have despised my oath by breaking the covenant." Covenant Breaches in Act 3 ISAIAH Isa. 24:5 - "The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant."

New Covenant Promised in Act 3 JEREMIAH EZEKIEL ISAIAH Jer. 31:31 - "'The days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah." EZEKIEL Eze. 16:60 - "Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you." New Covenant Promised in Act 3 ISAIAH Isa. 55:3 - "Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David."

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.' In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.' LUKE 22:19-20

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.... HEBREWS 9:15

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant -- not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 CORINTHIANS 3:6
