Animaker Tips Explainer Script Tutorial By Ian Maigua

Lesson Overview The explainer script is the most important part of an explainer video because it tells the customer how a business’s product or service will benefit their lives. If you have never created an explainer video script, you will definitely want to check out this presentation. In this tutorial, we will show you the process that we use to create professional explainer scripts that turn viewers into buyers.

The Phone Interview At Animaker Tips, we always like to start all of our explainer videos by having a phone interview with the client. The phone interview is important because we gather the information that we need to write the explainer script. The questions that we ask we will follow this explainer video structure. Understanding the Problem Presenting the Solution Describe the Process One sentence Thesis Statement Call to Action

Phase 1: Understanding the Problem The goal for this phase is to show the audience that we understand the problem that they are dealing with. This ability to sympathize with the audience will help you to grab their attention right away. Here are two questions that we typically ask the client during this phase What is the problem that you are trying to solve with your product or service? Who is your target audience? These two questions are perfect for completing this phase because They show us the problem that their product is trying to solve It tells us the target audience for this product. This information will help us to figure out how to write the script that will appeal to the company’s target audience.

Phase 1: Understanding the Problem Question 1 What is the problem that you are trying to solve with your product or service? The problem is that attending a conference tends to be very expensive because you need to pay for many things such as food, travel, and hotel expenses. These expenses can prevent a person from attending the conference because it is simply out of their budget.

Phase 1: Understanding the Problem Question 2 Who is your target audience ? The target customers are men and women who are about 18 to 32 years old. This audience should be interested in attending conferences.

Phase 1: Understanding the Problem Turning the responses into a script Actual Script What is the problem that you are trying to solve with your product or service? Attending a conference can be expensive because you need to pay for food, travel and hotel accommodations. These expenses can prevent people from attending their event. Who is your target audience? 18 to 35 year old people who love to attend events and conferences. Are you attending a conference and looking for someone to split costs with such as travel and accommodation? Susan is a young entrepreneur who wants to attend a conference that will improve her marketing skills. Brian is a comic book enthusiast who wants to connect with other fans at the next comic book convention. The travel expenses such as lodging and local transportation are just too expensive for them to manage alone. If they can’t find someone to share the costs with, they won’t be able to go on their trips. Thankfully they found out about TravelPal Finder!

Phase 2- Presenting the Solution The goal for this phase is to show the audience that the client’s product is the solution to the problem that they are dealing with. This is the question that we typically ask the client during this phase. How does your product or service benefit your customer? This question is vital to the explainer script because it shows how your product or service benefits the customer.

Phase 2: Presenting the Solution Question 1 How does your product or service benefit your customer? Now Travelpal Finder easily solves this problem by connecting you to another person who is attending the same event. This allows both of you to negotiate how you will split the expenses such as hotel, travel, and food expenses.   This will ultimately reduce your travel expenses because you be able to split it with your travel buddy.
