Purpose Provide clear expectations for communicating and reporting emergencies in RCSD Explain the steps to secure supports from the Grief team

Emergency Incident Report Framework Incident Level 1 Classroom and/or School-Based incidents Incident Level 2 School-Based incidents that requires extra support Incident Level 3 Emergencies School & Community Based incidents that require outside support Incident Level 4 Crisis School & Community Based that require emergency support

Classroom and/or School- Based incidents Minor Medical Injuries Staff   Fights/Arguments Incident Level 1 Classroom and/or School- Based incidents Text/Email Chief

Department of Safety and Security Confirm child is missing; not just late or absent from school, but confirmed as missing How is child missing? Did not arrive at school? Did not arrive home? Left building? Contact 911 and School Chief. Contact Safety and Security if unable to reach School Chief Have staff member gather demographic information and most recent picture. Information includes name, Student ID number, DOB, address, parent/guardian information, disabilities, general clothing description, known friends, known hang-outs Have information readily available for RPD and RCSD staff Safety and Security will dispatch Mobile Units and/or Road Patrol to search locations Flexibility is key as management of the situation dictates the process
