To the right, tell me what you think a day in the life of a turtle would be like: (List 3 things that you think would happen in a day – be creative!) Science Standards: S7L4. Students will examine the dependence of organisms on one another and their environments. a. Demonstrate in a food web that matter is transferred from one organism to another and can recycle between organisms and their environments. c. Recognize that changes in environmental conditions can affect the survival of both individuals and entire species. d. Categorize relationships between organisms that are competitive or mutually beneficial. e. Describe the characteristics of Earth’s major terrestrial biomes (i.e. tropical rain forest, savannah, temperate, desert, taiga, tundra, and mountain) and aquatic communities (i.e. freshwater, estuaries, and marine). E/LA Standards ELACC7W9: Draw evidence from literary or informational texts to support analysis, reflection, and research. ELACC7W10: Write routinely over extended time frames (time for research, reflection, and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and audiences.

Turtlea is ready to leave home Turtlea is ready to leave home. She wants to travel the world before coming back home to her beach to lay eggs. Help her figure out where she is going to go! Click on either the light blue circle which represents shallow water or the deep blue which represents the deep sea. She will have to be careful in shallow water and search for food at sea.
