Reminder! Class Banker Duties: $850 Works with bankers to ensure that each student has the appropriate salary, rent and utilities taken out in the notebook. May have to step in as a banker at times too!  They make sure the correct balance is on the online banking website. The class banker will record every transaction online and be good at Math! The class banker will check selected accounts every Monday for accuracy. The class banker will report any questionable transactions to Mr. Hanner. Mr. Hanner and the class banker will be the only ones that have access to the online banking system. *If you want to know how much you have in your account, you can ask the class banker!*

Reminder! Banker Duties: $800 A banker keeps records for a single group of students (by area of room). This person must be good at arithmetic and a person of the highest integrity. The banker will check selected accounts every Monday for accuracy. The banker will report any questionable transactions to class banker or Mr. Hanner Records salary, take out money for rent and utilities, and fines in a notebook. Banker will work with class banker to make sure that correct information is online. Banker might have to work with loan officer if students are unable to pay rent, utilities and fines. Might have to cover additional duties if another banker is absent that day! Must be good at math!

Reminder! Loan Officer Duties: $750 Gives loans to student who can’t afford rent, utilities or fines (students who are unable to pay rent, utilities or fines have no access to Hanner store and must sit in assigned seat). Logs loans with interest of 20% in the notebook (Example, if students need to borrow $100 from the Loan officer, they will pay $120 instead of the $100 they borrowed). Loan officer communicates to students on what they still must pay. Loan officer will encourage students to make bonus money or create their own business to pay back the money. Might have to cover additional duties if another loan officer is absent that day.

Reminder! Fine Officer Duties: $700 Hands tickets or fines to students who don’t follow the procedures of the classroom. Mr. Hanner will tell the fine officer to log the fine in the notebook. Fine officer will work with banker to make sure that it gets paid and taken out of the account. Will need to communicate to loan officer for students who can’t pay it. Might have to cover additional duties if another fine officer is absent that day.

Reminder! Teacher Assistant Duties: $650 Will help the substitute when Mr. Hanner is absent. Teacher assistant will help Mr. Hanner with stations and small groups. Might have to help with small groups (must be adapatable) Must be good at math and must always show integrity. Teacher assistant will answer questions when Mr. Hanner is in teacher led station. Other duties may be assigned.

Reminder! Attendance Monitor Duties: $600 Attendance monitor will make sure students are in assigned seat at the bell. Assigns tardy and absences to students who are not in the seats. Monitor will give make up work to students (if they came back from an absence) and will make sure to pick up extra work for those students who are absent (put names on papers), and clip it to the marker board. Will need to communicate to fine officer about when a student is tardy for it to be a fine.

Reminder! Clerk Duties: $550 Clerk hands out papers to class from the brown bins in the back counter Clerks sets notebooks out at the beginning of class Clerks pick up productivity sheets, homework and assignments when told by teacher. Also, they will hand out computers for stations. With the direction of Mr. Hanner, clerks will check if students completed homework or assignments by walking around with a clipboard. Will need to communicate to fine officer if students didn’t complete homework or assignment for a fine. Will need to communicate to banker if students finished homework or assignment for a bonus.

Reminder! Grader Duties: $550 A grader will be responsible for correcting or grading papers in math for objective work only (multiple choice, True/False, fill in the blank, exit tickets, etc). With the direction of Mr. Hanner, grader working with clerks will check if students completed homework or assignments by walking around with a clipboard. Will need to communicate to fine officer if students didn’t complete homework or assignment for a fine. Will need to communicate to banker if students finished homework or assignment for a bonus.

Reminder! Store Manager Duties: $500 Assists with transactions of The Hanner Store once a month. Determines what students might like to have in the store within reason. Must determine how to retrieve such items by communicating to Mr. Hanner. Might need to create polls and surveys to determine what students would like to see in Hanner store. Might encourage students to bring items from home to supply The Hanner Store.

Reminder! Custodian Duties: $450 Cleans the room Makes sure the trash is in the trash bin and recycles are in the recycling bin in assigned area! May need to communicate to fine officer if a student leaves trash at desk for a fine. Available for part time work! 

Reminder! Substitute Duties: $600 Substitute: Performs jobs for any missing students (Clerks, attendance monitor, store manager, custodians, grader) Adaptable to change positions

Reminder! Tutor Duties: Part Time!!! $250 May work with students in groups or 1:1 to be successful in the math classroom. Strong math skills. Works with teacher assistant and will cover if teacher assistant is absent. Part time position only. Must set schedule for 3 days a week. Benefits to those who would like to do a side job! 

Reminders for Jobs You may be fired from a job if you aren’t doing it. You will get an increase in salary if you are going above the expectations!  If you have a suggestion to make your job easier, you may get a bonus!  You may apply for other positions if available. (Not all of you can be bankers!) You may be able to work 2 jobs, but only if there is a need available and only if everyone has a job or doesn’t want a job. For any job, you may work part time, but that means you will get half pay and only if there is a need. If you can think of any other positions please let me know and I might consider it!  You can do your own business, however, you must submit a business license to Mr. Hanner (Make sure it’s school appropriate!) and my employees will pay for the service or product that you do for them. You get no salary from me!

Reminders for Jobs You are not required to have a job; however, you do have rent and utilities pay for and possibly fines for you to pay. Rent is $500 and Utilities is $100 a month. Buy desk: $3,500 (don’t have to pay rent) As you can tell, some positions will require you to work extra jobs or get bonuses. Rental fees and housing include the following accommodations:  The ability to move outside of your assigned desk area for completing work The freedom to sit by friends around the room (after attendance has been taken and only during non-instructional time)
