School Hours 8:50 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. Walkers/riders enter building at Theater entrance. Our building does not open until 8 a.m. Students will not be supervised prior to that time.

Cafeteria Set up lunch accounts: Free & Reduced applications may also be completed in the Cafeteria.  Please apply online if possible to facilitate the process. Computers are available if you would like to sign up today. Additionally, paper forms will be included in the student packet to be distributed in the CCSD folder on Monday.

BLOGS The best way for you to know what is going on in class is through our teacher BLOGS. Ask your child to check all teachers’ BLOGs daily.

Agenda Agenda’s will be distributed on the first day of school. Students are required to carry their agenda at all times. *Pages should not be folded. Replacement agendas cost $10.00.

Absence Notes Please write absence notes on a separate piece of paper and not in the agenda. Be sure to include your child’s full name, homeroom teacher, and date of absence.

Technology Cell phones and other devices must be turned off and stored in locker. Occasionally, teachers may announce that class will include a BYOD lesson, in which case cell phones may be allowed in the classroom setting.

Got Tissue? Please consider supplying multiple boxes of tissue for your homeroom teacher!

Copy Paper Teacher’s will be receiving one box of paper, which is expected to last the entire school year. Please consider supplying a few reams of copy paper if at all possible. It will be much appreciated!!!

Medications Medications must be logged in at the clinic. Proper paperwork must be filled out with the school nurse.

Gifted Qualification Questions? All 7th grade students will be evaluated for Advanced Content placement after taking the Iowa and CogAT assessments during the first week of October.

Contact Teachers The best way to contact teachers is by email. Email links can be found through the Daniell website/School Links/Faculty & Staff Directory.

Don’t forget, parents... Check the bus route before leaving school. (Students must know their bus number and lane!) Bulletin boards for bus routes are located in the gym.
