Fall Play Auditions: August 21, 22, and 23 Show Dates: October 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19th *All show times are at 7pm unless otherwise noted This show will be in the round (which means the audience is on stage with the actors!) It’s a lot of fun so please don’t be afraid to audition, we love to see new people!

Winter Show: TBA Auditions: November 6 & 7, Callbacks: November 8 Show Dates: February 7,8, 14, and 15 *All showtimes are at 7pm unless otherwise noted This show will be in proscenium Please come out and audition for this show too many people get discouraged if they don’t make one show, BUT KEEP AUDITIONING!!

Shakespeare Shorts This is a project done by the Advanced Acting and Directing Class Each student in the class directs two scenes from a shakespeare play as their final project Please come and audition for these, they are so much fun!! It is also a great ice breaker into the acting side of our theatre. All the students are nice and want to help new people feel comfortable enough to audition for shorts and main stage productions. It still is put on as an NCHS theatre production, however it is free to get in

Underground If you are a playwright or you find a play that you really want to put on, you can submit your request to put on a play of your own Just go the the theatre webpage and you’ll see a link to apply to put on a show, this allows Vern and McWhorter to see the information about the show you want to do *Please note that you may not get the stage because as you will find out many people and clubs and sports teams even, have rented out the stage. However if you find a free space then we can make it work

TECH!! We talked a lot about auditions and many opportunities to act but there are just as many opportunities to join tech! So if you didn’t get a part in the current production, or if acting isn’t really your thing but you find yourself wanting to be involved in some way, don’t fret! Tech has many departments that you can experiment with and be a part of. We have tech work days on scheduled Saturday from 10am-1pm, where anyone can come in and help work on the set or train for Iron Lights and Sound (ILS)

Training for Paid Jobs - ILS Vern will explain

Orientation When: Saturday the 24th Where: Auditorium What time: 10am-1pm Why is it important: You get to go through each section of our theatre program and learn a small bit of what they do during tech week, shows, and rehearsals Please come in on Saturday because you will find that there are multiple pieces involved in making our program and shows run so smoothly *There will also be pizza!!

Our Overall Goals We are a welcoming and inclusive club that always has its arms open to new people. We truly want to focus on respecting the wishes and opinions of others. We try to make people feel safe and comfortable so they feel that they can come back year after year. We do not tolerate any forms of bullying, hateful language, or behavior that is disrespectful towards anyone. WE ARE A FAMILY! We want people to feel comfortable to talk and be heard within our community. So please talk to us and know that you are always welcome.

Let’s have an amazing season!! We hope you will join our club and be a part of our theatre community!!
