Activator: Take out your Homework and your Module 4 packet March 11, 2015 [Day E] Take out your Homework and your Module 4 packet In your notebook, copy and write an expression using variables and/or numbers after marking the text by underlining key words. Omaya picked x amount of apples, took a break and then picked v more. Write the expression that models the total number of apples Omaya picked.

Objective(s): SWBAT: write algebraic expressions that record all operations with numbers and/or letters standing for the numbers. (6.EE.A.2)

Pgs. 75-76 Exercises Students work in groups to complete the stations. At each station, write down the problem and the expression with variables and/or numbers. Underline the key words in each problem. When you reach the last station, you will complete the station on the larger paper keeping it to the top half. You then will go around and write comments/critiques of the others on the bottom half.
