Case #4 Dr. Laura Lamps A 34 year old Hispanic female presented in March of last year with weight loss and tachycardia. She was found to be hyperthyroid, and started on propylthiouracil. In June, she presented with complaints of nausea, vomiting, itching, jaundice, and clay-colored stools. Her AST was 1028, ALT 1039, Bili 6.6, and alkaline phosphatase 586. ANA and other autoimmune serologies were negative. Viral studies negative. There was no evidence of obstruction on imaging. A liver biopsy was performed.
