Application for Building Permit The municipality The advisor The applicant The applicant is responsible for providing the documentation for the municipality in cooperation with his advisor Application through Byg & Miljø Limited ammount of documentation on application The applicant must notify the municipality accordingly of any significant changes during the construction work
Other legislation When processing the application the local council must investigate if the building work conflicts with other Danish legislation.
Building Case Management
Certification Order: Background Amendment of the Buillding Act in 2016 The purpose was to increase efficiency and growth by simplifying the building case management The amendment of the law gave basis for creating a certification order for documenting technical circumstances regarding the building regulations
Certification order: Purpose A part of the technical building case management in the municipalities is transferred to certified engineers or fire advisors with the purpose of Strengthen the foundation for standardization and use of the functional requirements. Supporting the possibility for increased use of innovative solutions and optimization of the building process.
Certification Order: Hierarchy The certified structural engineer or fire advisor thereby has the qualifications to document and control whether the criteria of BR18 are being abided.
