The Great Greek Monster Battle Ya’ know. March madness… But with monsters!

The Task that lies before you… You will create a scouting report for your assigned monster. Your scouting report should include the following: Where did the monster come from/how was it created? In which myths does it appear / to which stories is it connected? If it was killed, who defeated it and how? How would it fight / why would it be good in a battle? Include a large picture so we know what they look like. PUT THE SLIDE HERE: S:\Shared\Students\English\Student Work\Stadnycki\Ancient Mythology\Period 7-8\Great Greek Monster Battle (Slides) A notecard, completely colored, with your monster’s name in big bold print, and a drawing of that monster if you choose. Make sure the name is large and visible.

The Rules of Battle “THE GLORIOUS FISTS OF GLORY” Monsters will be paired off randomly and will “fight” in a bracket style tournament. We will vote as a class as to who wins each fight. Any tie votes will cause an instance of “THE GLORIOUS FISTS OF GLORY” (…also known as rock, paper, scissors)
